Clement Chevallier planted the Aspall Hall cyder orchards in 1728 and eight generations later, the Chevallier family still live and work in the cyder-making business. For nearly 300 years, Aspall has combined a love of traditional cyder-making with a passion for innovation. Aspall’s apples are still pressed on-site and produce world-class cyders and cyder vinegars.

Bristol Beer Factory started life in 2004 brewing cask conditioned ales. We soon realised that there is so much more to brewing and many more styles to try and so we have developed our production to offer a range of different regular bottled ales, cask ales and a variety of specials throughout the year.

The vision behind our small Cornish distillery is to make great-tasting spirits with integrity. We aim to do this by going back to basics: using traditional techniques, quality ingredients and old-fashioned equipment. We believe the human touch in everything is absolutely crucial for superiority; our copper pot still is fired by flame and judged by eye, our botanicals are selected by sight and feel, our bottles are all individually filled, corked, sealed, labelled, numbered and waxed by hand.

Michael Morgan

Produced by hand in the brewery’s steam copper, our ingenuity and passion transform the finest local malts and the best British hops into consistently high-quality beers, whilst minimising impact on the environment. There was brewery at Box nearly a hundred years ago, and when we resurrected it in 2004 we stayed true to the Great British brewing tradition, just adding a little personality and a lot of enthusiasm.
