BARBI – Bristol Association of Restaurants, Bars and Independent Establishments – was set up in January 2017 and we now have over 7,800 members in our Facebook group and over 350 official venue members at 1st January 2020. It’s been set up to give independent businesses a collective voice with the council, purchasing power as a group and networking events for the industry.

Purchasing Group

Access to the BARBI Purchasing Group. We have nearly 400 venue members and have partnered with a number of Partners, some of which are able to shave some %’s on costs and others that provide higher levels of service. Our Partners.

Recruitment

Recruitment posting in the Facebook group. As well as full/part time staff it’s also great when you need staff in an emergency to cover illness/holidays etc. Our group is nearly 9,000 strong and is the biggest recruitment portal for the industry.

Exclusive Events

Invitations to the famous BARBI events – quarterly owners events, summer and xmas staff parties. Our parties get bigger and bigger each year! They have been hosted all across Bristol in venues such as The Lanes, Lakota and Motion! Next up – BARBI Fest!!

The BARBI App

We are working on an app that will provide everything you need for the industry. It will include Delivery, Click and Collect, Table Ordering, Track and Trace, Offers and More! BARBI App.
